For decades, Richard Perkins has been a respected figure in Henderson, NV, where his leadership has shaped public safety, government policy, and economic development. Whether serving residents of Henderson, NV, or representing Nevada on broader regional initiatives, Richard Perkins has earned a reputation for bringing together public officials, businesses, and community organizations to solve complex challenges and create lasting opportunities.

His career has spanned law enforcement, state government, and private enterprise. As speaker of the Nevada Assembly, Mr. Perkins championed legislation that established Nevada State College, introduced Nevada's Amber Alert system, formed the Nevada Homeland Security Commission, and expanded access to full-day kindergarten. He later served as chief of police for the Henderson Police Department before transitioning into business leadership as president and CEO of The Perkins Company and CEO and founder of the Business Council of Canada and Nevada.

Beyond his executive roles, Mr. Perkins remains actively involved in civic and professional organizations. He has served as president and executive committee member of the National Speakers Conference, sits on the Nevada Commission on Homeland Security, participates in the Council of State Governments, serves on the Nevada State University Foundation Board, is an alumnus of the American Swiss Foundation, and is a member of the Vegas Chamber.
